I have been travelling with a study abroad program in Tours, France. I will be here until June 24th if you currently live close by and would like to talk about Canivet genealogy. I have discovered so many of the places I believe my 5th great grandparents have been and enjoyed. I recently visited St. Malo and the Grand Mont Saint Michel.  I felt an instant connection to our ancestors. Being here, in the midst of our rooted history in France has ignited the embers of genealogy within me. I often wonder what their lives were like and what stirred them to move to America., leaving the beautiful islands of Guernsey and Jersey behind. I have enjoyed being here.
